Advocating a creditable book club or contacting book reviewers is a great way to gain publicity. Book club members and book reviewers will read and write reviews for your book. You could post the reviews on your website(s) /pages or use the reviews as useful marketing tools to promote and advertise your book in the marketplace.
The reviews could also provide an entrance into libraries and several distribution outlets. You can also submit your reviews to newspapers, magazines, book catalogs and reach out to other media opportunities.
